These initiatives and technologies along with its quality processes that are conscientiously adhered to by SteelAsia personnel have earned the company certifications and accreditations.
ISO 9001 – Quality Management System
SteelAsia has been certified to conform to ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System) by the Certification International Philippines, Inc.
ISO 14001 – Environmental Management System
SteelAsia is the first steel manufacturer in the Philippines to be certified to ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management System), also by Certification International.
ISO 45001 – Occupational Health and Safety Management System
SteelAsia has been certified to conform to ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System), also by Certification International. The certification which affirms the company’s commitment to improving employee safety, reducing workplace risks, and creating better, safer working conditions.
UK CARES
The UK Certification Authority for Reinforcing Steels (UK CARES) has affirmed that SteelAsia’s products adhere to the British Standard for reinforcing steel bars or rebars. It has likewise affirmed that the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) conforms to the international standard ISO 9001:2015. The UK CARES certification allows SteelAsia to export its rebars to countries following the British Standard such as Canada.
PNS 49:2020
SteelAsia rebars are certified under the Philippine National Standard 49:2020, the international standard for steel used for the reinforcement of concrete.
PNS 211:2002
SteelAsia rebars are certified under the Philippine National Standard PNS 211:2002, the international standard for steel used for the reinforcement of concrete.
