The Accounts Payable Assistant Manager will oversee AP operations to ensure timely and accurate payment processing of company-wide transactions.
Main Responsibilities
- Liaise with suppliers regarding AP concerns
- Resolve AP-related issues and improve process to recurrence
- Monitor AP ageing to ensure alignment with AP subsidiary ledger and the general ledger
- Prepare and analyze reports, investigating long-standing or unusual account balances
- Ensure seamless accruals of expenses for month-end closing through strong business partnerships with various stakeholders
- Monitor and update of schedules for SAMC's parent accounts, as assigned by the Head of Accounting
- Monitor CAPEX sending of the SteelAsia
- Ensure that internal controls and complied with
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, other related courses.
- Preferably, a Certified Public Accountant
- With at least 1-2 years experience as an Assistant Manager/Lead
- Knowledgeable on PFRS, PAS, and Philippine taxation
- Must be willing to work in BGC, Taguig

- Assist in verifying and counting all bundles loaded to the truck if tally and correct versus items indicated on the Lift Ticket or Pick List and color of the grade of each item
- Take pictures of all loaded finished goods on the truck, together with the driver, helper and plate number of the truck
- Perform task related to shipment of Finished Goods and raw materials and may be assigned in the port
- Performs other duties may be assigned
Qualifications
- At least a high school graduate
- Must have basic knowledge and skill as a rigger, port operation, warehousing and delivery
